Welcome to Pack170 of Cherry Hill New Jersey

Cub Scouting is Fun with Purpose

Adventure starts with Cub Scouting, a year-round family program designed for boys in the 1st through 5th grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. Cub Scouts emphasize shared leadership, learning about the community, family understanding, character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Young boys grow up fast. Give your son a valuable gift by encouraging him to join Cub Scouting today. The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow. The Cub Scouts of Pack 170 are all about fun:  outdoor activities, snow-tubing, Philadelphia Tour, camping trips, earning achievement badges, arts and crafts, building Pinewood Derby racing cars, community service, hayride, archery, bb, summer camp, life skills, games, being with friends...and much much more. Lucas Mozes; Scout in Action!!!

Posted on Mar 12 2012 - 11:43am

Den Leader Mr. Mozes and his son Lucas; a Webelo I who just earned his Webelos badge were sking on the weekend of March 10th where they encountered an injured skier who was down and face bleeding unable to stand. While his father went for help, Lucas calmed the skier, applied pressure to the wound and applied ice to reduce swelling on what was a broken nose. The saftey patrol arrived one of whom was an Eagle Scout thanked Lucas for his efforts and awarded him a certificate and 2 tickets to the park.  Well done Lucas, a clear example of what scouting is about.
